HIDDEN MEADOW RANCH OFFERS
SPECIAL SUMMER GETAWAYS
Indulge your fantasies
in luxury
Greer,
Ariz. (March 12, 2003) -- Hidden Meadow Ranch, a
luxury hideaway offering gourmet dining and year-round
activities near the town of Greer in eastern Arizona’s
White Mountains, announces its Summer Getaway Packages:
Ritzy Ranching at
Hidden Meadow Ranch.
If you’ve
ever wanted to go on a “City Slicker”
cattle drive but without the “roughing it”
part, Hidden Meadow Ranch will provide an escape
to the olden’ days without leaving behind
the luxury of today. The high-end guest ranch has
arranged several weekends for those guests who’d
like to try some cow-punching in the Apache-Sitgreaves
National Forest. On the weekends of May 30 and July
11, the herd will be pushed to higher, cooler mountain
pastures; on the weekend of August 15, guests can
participate in the branding operation; and on the
weekend of October 3, the cattle will be moved back
down the mountain to their winter pasture. At Hidden
Meadow Ranch, a guest can experience all the dust
and glory of a cattle drive, yet retreat to their
private log cabin to relax in a hot bath in a custom
soaking tub, enjoy a gourmet candlelit dinner with
fabulous wines, and bed down between imported Italian
bed linens under a down blanket. That’s our
definition of roughing it, indeed! For reservations
or information, call 928.333.1000 or toll free 866.333.4080.
Fantasy Fly-fishing
from Hidden Meadow Ranch
Escape to some of the most isolated and beautiful
areas of eastern Arizona’s White Mountains
to cast for rainbows, browns and native Apache trout
– but don’t leave the luxury behind.
Hidden Meadow Ranch will arrange pack trips to little-known
fishing spots, providing the guides, equipment and
staff that will make this an unforgettable adventure.
Camp will already be set up when you arrive on horseback,
guided in by the inviting and delicious aroma of
campfire cooking. Even in a tent, the evening turndown
service and goodie on your pillow won’t be
forgotten! Combined with a stay at Hidden Meadow
Ranch, these fly-fishing trips can be custom-tailored
to your expectations: a day trip; an overnight camping
trip or even a three- or four-day trip to New Mexico’s
Gila Wilderness Area. For reservations or information,
call 928.333.1000 or toll free 866.333.4080.
Additional special packages
will be available for holidays and other happenings
and announced on the Hidden Meadow Ranch Web
site.
At an elevation of more
than 8500 feet, Hidden Meadow Ranch offers guests
the opportunity to fully enjoy each of the four
seasons and all of the outdoor activities that accompany
those seasons.
In warm weather, guests
may enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding
(on our horses or yours staying in one of our guest
stalls), and fly-fishing in our own spring-fed trout
pond or on guided pack trips to secluded White Mountains
streams. Star-gazing, wildlife photography, Apache
dancing and storytelling, leather-crafting and a
host of other activities for children and adults
are also offered.
Hidden Meadow Ranch
offers 10 hand-peeled blue spruce log cabins with
individually concepted decors that each include
a downstairs master bedroom, wood-burning fireplace,
winding wood staircase to a loft bedroom/sitting
area, separate bath and powder rooms with natural
slate countertops and custom soaking tub, galley
kitchen, and a covered porch overlooking a very
private meadow preserve.
In addition to the guest
cabins, the expansive central Ranch House is the
spot for gourmet dining, reading in the library
or relaxing in the lounge. Internet access and a
flat-screen plasma television are available in the
Ranch House loft for guests to check e-mail or the
latest headlines. Board games and books are in the
Ranch House as well as the guest cabins, providing
quiet family or couple time in front of the wood-burning
fireplaces.
Hidden Meadow Ranch
is located approximately 10 miles north of the quaint,
historic town of Greer in eastern Arizona, approximately
four hours by car from Phoenix, Tucson or Albuquerque.
Accessible by commuter air service from Phoenix
through the Show Low Airport approximately 45 minutes
from the Ranch or by private aircraft through the
Springerville Airport just 25 minutes away, the
Ranch will happily provide transportation for those
who arrive by air. The all-inclusive introductory
rate, which includes three gourmet meals per day
and access to all lodge facilities and ranch-sponsored
activities for two people, is $500 per night, double
occupancy.
